Hygiena presents studies at International Association for Food Protection

Hygiena, a leader in food safety testing, will present 11 posters summarizing food safety studies at the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) annual meeting in Louisville, KY. 

The studies will present results from research on a new way to quantify Salmonella concentrations in poultry, results from bioluminescence testing on cannabis-infused food, and real-time PCR testing on a variety of foods.

“We are excited to highlight the great research and development the Hygiena team has achieved in the past year, which will help improve food safety programs, expand the areas in which Hygiena products are used, and provide customers new and innovative ways to shorten time to result and sample clean up,” said Steven Nason, CEO of Hygiena. “Application studies that expand the matrices in which are products are used on, the new EnSURE™ Touch ATP and microbial monitoring system, and new allergen product line continue to build on our wide range of technologies and methods to help keep global food supply chains safer.”
