Testing Solutions for Shigella Detection

Shigella is a highly contagious bacteria that spreads easily. Very low virus levels cause disease, and cross-contamination can occur from poor hygiene practices during food production and handling. Our Shigella PCR assays can easily detect commonly implicated serotypes (S. sonnei, S. flexneri, S. boydii, and S. dysenteriae), quickly eliminating negative samples and reducing presumptive positives seen with conventional methods.
