PRO-Clean® Protein Residue Test: Instructional Video

This instructional video demonstrates the correct use of Hygiena^®'s PRO-Clean protein residue detection tests.

• If stored in cold conditions, allow the test to reach room temperature before use.
• Remove the device from the foil pouch. Optionally, label it with location or time.
• Twist and pull the swab from the tube.
• Swab a 4-inch square area in a crisscross pattern, applying pressure to flex the wand and rotating for full coverage.
• For irregular surfaces, ensure a consistent technique and sample a sufficient area.
• Return the swab to the tube and break the snap valve by bending the bulb back and forth.
• Squeeze the bulb twice to release liquid, then shake for 5-10 seconds.
• Keep the tube upright during the reaction time.
• After the reaction time (60 seconds), compare the liquid color to the chart on the label.
• Store between 35°F - 77°F (2°C - 25°C). Detection levels vary with time: 0.80 µG protein (1 min), 0.50 µG (5 min), 0.20 µG (10 min).
