The Hygiena Prep Xpress is a compact automated liquid handling system designed for food safety lab automation and high-throughput pathogen detection workflows. This versatile pipetting station eliminates manual errors and reduces technician fatigue during BAX System sample preparation, including reagent dispensing, serial dilutions, and PCR setup automation. Featuring air displacement pipetting with 1.0% CV accuracy, intelligent liquid level detection, and an integrated camera for verified deck loading, the Prep Xpress delivers consistent, reproducible results. Its flexible configuration supports two independent channels or an 8-probe head to match fluctuating sample volumes, while user-replaceable components minimize downtime.
