The BAX® System Real-Time Salmonella is an AOAC OMA and AFNOR-certified PCR assay for food pathogen detection, delivering rapid Salmonella testing results in approximately 60 minutes after enrichment. Designed for food processors and testing laboratories, the assay covers a comprehensive range of matrices including meat, poultry, dairy, produce, pet food, chocolate, ready-to-eat, seafood, and environmental samples. The SalQuant feature provides true quantitative contamination level estimation in poultry, beef, and pork matrices—offering a faster alternative to traditional MPN methods. With lyophilized reagents in a single-tube format and integrated internal controls, the BAX System streamlines workflows while ensuring reliable, reproducible detection across diverse food matrices.
