The foodproof® StarPrep® Two Kit delivers reliable DNA extraction from Gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and mold for PCR-based detection. This AOAC-RI certified kit features a streamlined single-tube lysis protocol that eliminates hazardous organic solvents while minimizing cross-contamination risks. Optimized for food safety laboratories, it processes enrichment cultures, direct samples, filtered water, and bacterial colonies with consistent results. The kit supports four protocols: standard, high-quality, liquid culture, and colony extractions. Ideal for detecting Listeria, Clostridium, Legionella, and spoilage organisms including Alicyclobacillus. Each kit provides 96 reactions with room temperature storage.
