The foodproof® GMO Screening Kit is a real-time PCR testing solution for detecting genetically modified plants in food, feed, and seed samples. This comprehensive assay simultaneously detects four key GMO sequences: the 35S promoter from Cauliflower mosaic virus, NOS terminator from Agrobacterium tumefaciens, bar gene from Streptomyces hygroscopicus, and FMV promoter from figwort mosaic virus. The kit includes a second assay for plant DNA detection and an internal control for reliable results. The kit uses UNG technology to prevent carry-over contamination. Designed for 2 x 64 reactions, this PCR kit delivers accurate GMO screening results for food safety testing professionals.
