The Hygiena Transport Swab is a sterile environmental sampling swab pre-filled with letheen broth or buffered peptone water for accurate microbial recovery. Available in 4 mL and 10 mL volumes, this transport swab supports large-volume sample processing and multiple plate inoculations from a single collection. Letheen broth neutralizes residual sanitizers, preventing false-negative results during post-sanitation verification. Gamma irradiated and aseptically filled, each sterile transport swab maintains an 18-month shelf life under refrigerated storage. Compatible with agar plates and dried gel systems for food and beverage production facilities.
