foodproof® D-Light - Dead DNA Elimination for True-Positive PCR

The foodproof® D-Light is a specialized sample preparation instrument that eliminates free DNA and dead cell DNA using blue light photoactivation. Designed for viability PCR and live/dead cell differentiation, this pre-treatment step ensures accurate results by detecting only viable cells, preventing false positives in environmental monitoring and food safety testing. Processing up to 48 samples per run in 1.5/2.0 mL tubes, the D-Light features programmable dark and blue light phases (0-99 minutes). Built-in thermal safety automatically shuts down at 50°C to protect samples, while the compact benchtop design minimizes lab space requirements.
